⁸ Cush was the father of Nimrod, the first mighty warrior on the earth. ⁹ He was a mighty hunter whom the Lord blessed. That’s why people used to say, “⌞He’s⌟ like Nimrod, a mighty hunter whom the Lord blessed.”
